GoldCore simulated portfolios to the end of March 2010

In the 12 months to the end of March 2010 the MSCI World Index has increased by 53.23% in US$ terms.

Looking at the history of annual MSCI data to the end of March for all periods as far back as 1970 this return is only beaten by the 12 months to the end of March 1986 with a return of 57.30%.

Long-time watchers of financial markets know that investors are always worrying about one thing or another. What's not often apparent is how quickly those worries are built into prices and how rapidly the narrative changes and this change in investor sentiment have clearly been reflected in the last 12 months.
